For OS version 6.5 and above are required to perform the manual method below so that upgrades go smoothly.<\/span> H<\/span>ere are the steps:<\/span><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong><\/span>Download the package from the url http:\/\/updates.ironport.com\/fetch_manifest.html, and enter the Serial Number of your machine and enter the Base releas tag with format: <\/strong><\/span>phoebe-7-0-1-102 for 7.0.1 build 102 <\/span><\/span><\/strong>. See the picture below<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

2.<\/strong><\/span> Then select the version above is the package now.<\/strong><\/span> My advice is to see\u00a0 first its pre-requisities from the official website Ironport<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

3.<\/strong><\/span> Once the package is downloaded, extract and place it on your web server’s root (in this case I assume that you are using a web server).<\/strong><\/span> Always to<\/strong> remember that the folder you placed on your web server is AsyncOS folder only.<\/strong><\/span> like\u00a0 the picture below<\/strong><\/span>:<\/strong><\/p>\n

4.<\/strong><\/span> After that, edit the configuration\u00a0 “Service Updates” on your Ironport machine as shown below and click the “submit” and also not to forget to click “commit change”<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

Note:<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n

1.<\/strong><\/span><\/span> Replace “ip_adress_anda” with your web server ip address, and do not forget to include your web server port, usually port 80<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

2.<\/strong><\/span><\/span> Replace “file.xml” with the xml file from the package you downloaded<\/strong><\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

5.<\/strong><\/span> After doing all the steps above, you can perform the upgrade via the menu “System Upgrade”.<\/strong><\/span> Then <\/strong><\/span>click “Upgrade Now” after that the upgrade process will run.<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n
